Ice route. A bit of walking to start with, then slowly through the snowfall. Main roads OK.

Cold, avoiding the large, Scottish Water owned river on Milngavie Rd.

Road Running 24:00 [3] 4.6 km (5:13 / km)

5 minute, 10 minutes, 5 minutes with 1 walk between. Foul evening but legs felt OK.

Mountain Biking 1:55:00 [3] 33.2 km (3:28 / km) +480m 3:14 / km

WHW to Carbeth then up and round Burncrooks. A bit cold, with some snow round Burncrooks and an unpleasant shower when up high. Good to get out.

Saturday Jan 19 #

Road Running 24:00 [3] 4.7 km (5:06 / km)

Four lots of 5 minute, 1 minute. Legs felt a bit unused to running, with R glute being the only identifiable complainant. Not anything to worry about.

Mountain Biking 40:00 [3] 10.0 km (4:00 / km)

Hanging 12 controls for Clyde Training in Milngavie, then retrieving 9 of them. The others may have been "tidied away" by Milngavie in Bloom volunteers!

Mains Estate, golf course, Mugdock and back through Dougalston. Lovely crisp morning.
