The most beautiful post call early morning ski with Bart and his dad. Great conditions for skating and the sun was out.

skills: back squat - 20 kg + bar
WOD: 10 rope climbs (killer!), 20 back squats, 30 HSPUs, 40 cal row

Run for Logan. Luckily the greenbelt was plowed which made for a more interesting run for him.
Crossfit 40:00 
Skill: (1) clean and snatch - then practice with a kettle ball - found this hard to coordinate so used a low weight; (2) Double unders: so hard
WOD: 4 x 10 KB snatch, 40 double unders (really what this meant is 10 single skips, trial of a DU, then 10 single skips. etc)
Extra: 10 pull ups x 3 - used the orange strap today (moving up); dips on rings - started with orange strap and moved up to the purple
Downhill Skiing 30:00 
2 hour downhill ski lesson. Some good pointers. Just need to skill at the hill more often i think. Planned to ski a few more runs but i forgot my cell phone at home which stressed me out if work needed me.
Strength Training 15:00 
Cross Country skiing 40:00 
Greenbelt nordic ski to get Logan exercise. Got 25 cm of fresh snow overnight. No way i could run in that. Was too deep for Logan.
Run 32:00 
On solo dog duty this week. Despite some fresh snow out for a quick run post call to get Logan exercise.
Crossfit 45:00 
skill: deadlifts - these are getting better - i have slowly increased the weight over 3 months as i had really lower back issues when i first started doing theses
WOD: 1,2,3,4,5,6.... 1 deadlift, 1 push up - as many as can be done in 20 mins
-> got to 17 rounds deadlifts, 16 rounds pushups
-> weight: 30 + 35 lbs for deadlifts -> supposed to be body weight but i've got a long way to go and i'm cautious to not get injured
-> managed the first 10 rounds pushups with full pushups and then a mix of full and pushups on my knees
