Pennine Uphill only race up to Sandy Heys. Had no idea how I'd react to this but feeling up for it. Started well which motivated me to keep pushing more than usual. Got a gap on Ba-ba and held it, but he was closing near the end. Great fun! Ruined my lungs though and still sore this evening.

Solo. Hadn't planned what to do so just set off. Felt good for the first bit up Buxton Rd so decided to time trial it up. Felt quite strong for the first half and tailed off a bit but hung on. Pleased with my rapid progress. Beefed it up with a new route to Flash and Gawsworth.
