It was a kayak-run Hill Island-kayak day. The trails on Hill have fallen into disrepair so it was more of a bush whack most of the time...plus we didn't bring a compass, just had to use the sun.

Hill Island - forest running most of the time, trails have been taken over by mother nature with an occasional painted trail marker. Interesting terrain especially the places we usually don't go.

Club Island start....high water makes it easy to get farther up the stream. Stopped to talk to neighbor, fellow out canoeing, Lindsay Chris & Jack when they went by in the boat....a very social paddle.
