The roadie is still in the shop so I thought I would mix things up and get back on the Anthem. First time since March I have ridden it and it was complaining all the way. Brakes were in pretty poor condition and squealed like tRicky's singing.

rode in along the river for a bit since it was a nice morning.

The roadie is in for a service so back on the MTB. I originally planned a longer ride but I was up till 11pm settling Eloise, and then Caitlyn got sick and started throwing up at 3:30am...... fun night.

Well, after my longest break from paddling since 2008 I got back in the boat. Just a cruisy loop down to Freo with Tim and Magnum.

Almost straight away my left shoulder started hurting, still the burning pain that I have had since Godzone so obviously I need to to something constructive about it. dammit.

Other than that it was a nice chatty paddle for the first half, then I suffered a bit towards the end as I ran out of ooomph.
