Rowing warm-up for 5 mins.
Then arm weights of all the different times, so 6 exercises with 3 times 12 reps for each. Then some quick core, and then had to dash off to be home in time!

Run back to Cardrona. Didn't realise it would be dark so quick so couldn't really see - and very spooky going through the tunnel!
Again, knee and achilles hurt and felt really bad when I set off and was worried I'd have to stop (again), as I was limping. Stopped and stretched and then kept going, and after 10 mins felt so much better and almost completly fine. Annoying.

Made a big strength program for the evening as didn't go to the gym as planned, and didn't realise how long it would take - went on for agessssss!
Core, hips, ankles and arms - mix of general strength like sit ups/plank and the more challenging yoga poses but holding them for longer e.g. warrior 3, crow pose, handstands, the wheel etc. Fun.

Cycled back to Peebles for the night run with the tri club.
Set off and my knee hurt AND the achilles in my right leg really hurt, and for a while thought I was now properly properly injured and would have to turn back so was in a right grump. But after 10 mins eased off completely and felt sooooooo much better!
Knee was a bit sore on the road coming back as I seized up a bit, but overall felt so much better for going out!
For some reason one particular stretch/yoga balance seemed to ease it off loads so think I'm going to keep doing that and keep moving - as soon as I stop it just seizes up.
Anyway so was fun, nice chatty pace with a good big group of us.
Was going to do a run, but was um-ing and ah-ing because of my knee and Isabelle suggested I had a bath so decided to do that and some stretching insead. It was amazing. Had candles and a face mask and was so warm. Then when I got out I suddenly felt absolutely exhausted and could barely move! So just lay on the sofa in a bath-coma.

Run to the pool for the swim, from Cardrona! I thought it was only 5km, and would only take 25 mins. I took wayyyy longer, so was a bit late for swimming and had to run quite briskly, which wasn't so good for the knee as wasn't warmed up at all, and had also just had dinner. But blew away the cobwebs of the day so that was good.
