Cross-trainer 20:00
need to do this more often as well! I'm sure it's good for my glutes and core and keeping everything going balanced and evenly.
Shame it's so mind-numbingly dull.
circuits etc 14:00
must do this more often!!
running 26:00
10 * approx. 75 secs uphill at Harviestoun on quiet section of track.
running 45:00
fine on warm up, v tired on warm down. wearing too many clothes (2 pairs of tights + 5 layers on top half) after being cold yesterday, so was a bit of a Michelin man.
both hamstrings still tired
running 46:00
with Storm in the snow.
running 18:00
on my own in the snow.
legs not too bad; hamstrings quite stiff and tight, but rest of muscles seem OK. Very hard to tell just how tired I am though in the snow. Definitely feeling less tired than this time last week. Need to not do 2 hours walking tomorrow as well as my run...
another planned rest day - into Glasgow with Rachel for Grade 1 violin exam.
running 2:32:26 30.0 km (5:05 / km) +140m 4:58 / km
Strathdevon - Blairlogie and back. too hot in a helly and light jacket.
still feeling a bit tired to start with but not too bad, certainly better than last Saturday, but really really struggling by the end. 42k is seeming an awfully long way at the moment.
So 1 week of rest but still with a fair amount of dog / DofE walking isn't enough to recover from 2 very hard weeks.
