Cracking session tonight - tough and loved it

Starting hard and trying to go negative on the second rep

Pretty much solo most of it. A bit of a tow on the last 3 reps but the longer reps were solo.

Pushed hard throughout. A little sad I didn’t get the second 800 but my paces were high

Very sore left foot last night. Feels like the bone at the base of my big toe between the big toe and second toe.

MACCL 1 - Wythenshaw Park - 7th

Good race. A little disappointed I got to the 5k mark and got dropped by Dave Norman but this was a good marker of where I am.

Wythenshaw is flat and easy with one small section in some woods: You get to you max, then stay there for a long time.There is perhaps only one small break through the woods but this is the best place to make places so working hard here pays off.

Very windy, and with a new field this got tactical pretty quickly. The front 3 were off the front early. I was then in the mix in a big group between 4th and 12th. Lots of jockeying for position to get tucked in before we turned the corner into the wind.

I was getting pissed at the pansying and massive slowing so would push hard at the front.
