Headed out early doors, without any proper breakfast so I could get back to watch the London marathon. Fairly cold to start out along the top of Rivelin, Wyming brook, Blackbrook farm where I saw a hare and the belted Galloway’s, good animal sightings along the with a dog that almost knee capped me with the stick in its mouth! Back down Porter valley and to the Whitelams for pancakes and London marathon watching. Legs didn’t have any zip today, but not having breakfast first won’t have helped. Thursday to Sunday all runs have felt quite lethargic so very much hoping this is just the natural effect of the taper, could do with being a bit more bouncy next weekend.
