Good day up on the ridge checking the old area. Lots of little changes to the vegetation in the western part that we have never used. Woods are dry but the big water features are full to overflowing.

Nice ride in good weather down the Rideau bike path to Montreal Rd. and back. No sore spots except for my butt.

Walked over to the beach and down the river paths to the pavilion in VM park. Good stretch afterwards.

First ride after two weeks of travelling, orienteering, but mostly eating and wine tasting in BC and Washington State. Gained 5 pounds.
A nice break in the recent bleak weather made for a warm and muggy ride - but I'm not complaining. First time we have seen the sun since we got back on Friday. Full pledge now to exercise at least one hour a day.
