Burbage and Stanage from Lodge Moor. Some in terrain which made it slow going. Stomach not 100% and kept getting stitch. Stopped for a sunbathe somewhere near Robin Hoods cave.

Very sleep deprived and nearly fell asleep once I got home but dragged myself out for a jog round the SYO WOD event. Walked some of the hills but nice to get some fresh air.

Tuesday May 23 #

Totley Moor Fell Race. Got into a nice rhythm up the first hill but was glad when it eased off at the top. On the flat at the top loads of people came past me. Managed to catch some back on the descents and climbs and had Jade in my sights up the third hill so kept pushing and managed to catch up on the final long hill up the track. Probably felt best on the final hill - I feel it takes me ages to warm up in races atm. Shame there weren't more technical bits but still a great evening out :) 1st U23 so won enough pub vouchers for a round. Cool that we had a course turnout of 7/11 this evening - probably one of few degrees where everyone is either a climber, cyclist or runner!
