Sprint Meet race 7:45 [5] 1.62 km (4:47 / km)
shoes: INOV8 Talon 200

First OLOU Sprint meet in 3 weeks. EP Sawyer is flat and Carl Christy designed an excellent course for beginners ( and we have had a lot lately). Made the mistake of no warm up so really felt like a slug out there and had to walk a couple of times. Felt like the Vancouver Training helped me with not stopping at the control

shoes: INOV8 Talon 200

I thought the warm up would help from the Short Course but felt worse on the long course. The long course was fairly easy but there were some hesitations by me but I liked the course. It was funny watching Shannon Ludwig attempt scaling over the tall out of bounds fence and wish I had whipped out my camera for that.

Saturday Feb 18 #

Short Fast paced Sprint. Would love to increase speed and distance. Flat terrain on open grass but very dark and scattered trees

Had very short time and pretty late on a Saturday evening. Wet conditions but the Hill had not had enough rain to make it muddy

shoes: Adidas Kanadia tr7

Went on a Trail run after some mapping. Very nice night again and took Moondog with me. No skunks chased by Moon this time
