Happy with my training throughout the prep and jwoc weeks. Every day was hectic (including the rest day for Brodie and I anyway; not much rest at all, there was always something that needed doing), happy with how I managed doing everything I wanted to do and being flexible with it as well. Really enjoyed it all and I think I did my job pretty well. There were a couple of issues that couldn't be helped; like the hire car company not having one of the cars ready, so leaving the airport about 2 hrs after we'd planned and the training accommodation losing our booking despite us having already paid for it, lots of sickness (most of the team...I think Brodie and I got lucky) that started before we got there and continued right throughout and other various sicknesses/injuries like Pat vomitting until about 8pm after the long but everything worked out in the end. Drove over 1500km which is definitely the most I've driven in 2 weeks. The team was really good and it was really awesome getting to know them all better. There were also no problems at all last night. Stayed around until the majority of Aussies had gone to bed. Keen for next year. Now 11 days in Sthlm to recuperate

Coaches race. Picked up leg 3 in the women's race. Made a mistake on 1. Lots of distractions in the run through so mp'd the spectator control. Had a burning mouth and a rough stomach for the last loop. Lots of fun.

Easy with Brodie. Watch initially couldn't find hr again.. it must be running out of battery. Got chased by a dog that tried to have a bite at Brodie's ankle while he was running but got a bit of a kick in the face instead. It still kept chasing us after that. Mean doggo.

JWOC Women's course. Lots of gates closed which changed the route choices a lot. Got distracted by the cars and missed a couple of route choices/alley ways because of them. Also quite cautious with going round corners, a lot of people out and about in Kecskemet today. Tried to push it hard but found myself having to slow down for the various obstacles already mentioned (cars, people etc). Fun course and good area. Enjoyable.
