Left calf a bit tight since Tuesday's quicker run so decided to have another day off running. A635 to Cawthorne, then back roads through Silkstone Common and Oxspring. Back home via the Flouch and Hades. Distance a bit of a guess since garmin battery died.

Same route as 2nd March as I fancied some firm ground and a quicker run. Still not confident enough to do intervals but a few tempo sections seems ok.

shoes: VJ Integrator (ex Lulu)

SYO Middle Distance race, Hugset.
Brown course, 5.2km, 115m.
Pretty decent with the exception of #10 where I went walkabout for around 4 minutes. Great fun though.

Hanging the remainder of the controls for BUCS. 6:30am start and best part of 4 hours on the go. Knackered.

Note

BUCS summary. It seemed to go well. All controls present and correct. Some nice comments. No bad ones. However, despite my best efforts, I failed to make the courses long enough. Very impressed by the winner's times. I guess I owe Jonny and Tessa a pint. Guinness at the SHI guys?
Thanks to all my control collectors. Ba ba in particular who seemed to get the short straw. I've seen enough of Wharncliffe for a while.
