Woke up this morning to find that my abs and core stabilizers were a bit DOMS-y, which I expected, given yesterday's yoga workout. I didn't expect my hamstrings to feel twingy, though, so that was a little annoying. Opted to just go for a brisk walk with Jeremy, Katherine, and the dog, and I'll try jogging again tomorrow.

Made it to the yoga for runners class this morning- I should have done this ages ago! Tough hips/core workout, but my hip flexors feel better than they have in years.

Pyramid workout with the stroller. Felt good today, although still not quite peppy. Hardly surprising, considering I only slept in 1.5-2 hour increments last night.

Managed to fit a little bit of core and arm work in while Katherine napped following our jog.

Ahh, MD winters. 2 days ago I didn't want to take the stroller out because there was still a significant amount of black ice on the roads, and the temperature was in the high 20s. Today it was sunny and 70, and I was in shorts. Felt a bit sluggish today, but Katherine loved the warm weather and spent the whole time cooing at the trees.

Pyramid workout with Katherine in the stroller. She spent the first half of my jog protesting loudly, then managed to fall asleep between one breath and the next. As we were nearly back to our street, a couple rhinos entered the pattern, and as one was directly overhead at about 1000', she opened her eyes just long enough to give me a big old gummy grin, then straight back asleep. Yep, she's my daughter all right.
