On the treadmill before work.

Walked 30 to start at 18:10 pace (3.3), then 3 x 10 minutes at 8:41 (6.9) with 3 min recoveries. Recovery at 18:10. Had to drop pace the last 3 mins or so of the last set to keep HR down. Better every day.

VASA 10:00 [3]

In early to work (0700) and turns out I'm heading to Chico to teach firearms at out academy. Huge opportunity I really want to nail.

On the VASA after work. Sets of 30 bilat pull downs for 7 mins, then 30 single arm swims with 90 secs recovery. Blown by 10 mins.

Level 5, one band.

Wednesday Feb 22 #

Tempo TT about 4 weeks out from Baker to Vegas.

Walked 5 to start, jogged 10, then 2 x 13 mins with 2 min recoveries. NGP around 8:17. Not awesome, but not surprising with the lack of training I've been doing. There's still time to get some speed back before the team toes the line.

More shit sleep since the kid is still sick. Poor guy has a nasty cough and just kind of whines because he feels so crummy. :(

Easy on the treadmill before work. Still high 30's and raining. ICK.

Walked 3 to start, then 3 x 10:2 run walk at 6.5-7.1 MPH (9:13-8:27). Most at 6.7 (8:57). Man, PCT is getting CLOSE.
