Rochester Map Adventure with Christine. We did some light jogging at times, but not a whole lot. Our route was pretty efficient until the end. Once I decided to go farther east and visit some of Highland Park, it took Corn Hill off the table, so I should have skipped some early controls to clean up on the way back so we only had 3 controls in the last 21 minutes (after I think 25 in the first 97 minutes). But we were late arriving so we did no pre-planning other than to say we wanted to visit Mt. Hope Cemetery.

North Country Scrabble Rogaine - 3 hour course. I signed up with Christine, but she went with Walt and Patty instead. My navigation was excellent, unlike most trips up to this area, but I planned a route without a good plan B for the eventuality that came to pass - to make my loop a loop, it required getting to a control that was almost on an island. When I got close, I realized that I could not cross the beaver dam that was there (which probably turned out OK as my planned southern marsh exit was supposedly under water, according to someone that tried to go in that way), so it was a 2+ mile run back past the start to do 3 more controls on the other side.

Thought I had a decent scrabble word with frowned, but not when there were Xs and Qs to be had at other controls.

Took the day off as we (Christine, plus Walt and Patty after they saw Faith's win in the 1500 at Sate Qs) caught the Amerks [sadly, last of the season] playoff game, a 1-0 loss to the Bears.

FCH3 from Rothfuss Park, a very surprisingly long trail since it was set by Seemore and Pink. Plenty of shiggy early as we battled through to Shoecraft Rd and then back to the 1000 Acre swamp.

Group Ride: The HERD Wacky Wednesday On 2019 UCI Worlds Harrogate Circuit
Easy ride, which was good as legs still feeling the effects of yesterday's run (but right hip not an issue at all). Started a couple of minutes late and did not stay OT as I wanted to join the Amerks telecast (turns out I missed the first goal) - they pulled out the win, setting us up to attend game 6 on Friday.
