Plod in the snow out to Fox House and then lift in Stuart’s Land Rover down to Hathersage for a night swim. Met Kerry and Karen visiting from Cheshire and went for a pint in The Plough with them afterwards.
Really needed a rest day today. Got home from work and just slept.
4 rashes of bacon&three egg bap for breakfast. 2 x cheese and bacon burgers for dinner then cheesy chips and a pack of shortbread + two beers as a late night snack.

Solid effort. Started at what I thought was 'comfortably hard' but clearly coudn't maintain. Think I've identified another area to work on and that's the solid ten milers and longer threshold runs. Feeling pretty tired tonight, I think still leggy from long run on Sunday. I also haven't actually felt good since I almost killed myself racing at The Yorkshires a few weeks ago.
