good, working hard, too much traffic on the path tonight, dogwalkers and cyclists, again the Garmin recorded 'moving times' a couple of seconds quicker than those above even though a stopped and started it on the run, huh?

odd night for an event but the monday night runners were seconded to help, felt very much like a cold was coming on, but the feeling came and went and ran okay, no trouble from the toe, hard to read the detail on the map in the light

not at the races today, guess my body's battling with a cold, certainly under par and easily stressed, started out feeling fresh (after two days off) then i had a boo when I reached the road and realised I would have to climb above the control #3, from that point on I resented all the climbs, struggled to decide the long route, but plumped for wide left after Quentin headed off that way, so hesitant that he was over 30secs ahead by the crossing

left foot went down rabbit hole approaching #10 and jarred my big toe, a little sore now
