Orienteering race 22:53 [4] *** 4.2 km (5:27 / km) +105m 4:51 / km

started slowly as hip was hurting, soon forgot about it due to adrenaline, leading at 5 when i made an error on 6 looking on the wrong side of the hill, overtaken by 3 her, and in 4th, 30s, then didnt have enough pace to keep up as i was tired, lost more ground on the lead guys at the control after spectator, running between two reentrants twice (15s) iffy RC to the one after this could have lost me 10s, good run to finish off the weekend, could have been in contention for first though, thinking a sub 22 could happen, happy with 4th considering i was struggling to walk sunday night.

Orienteering long 1:48:15 [2] **** 14.0 km (7:44 / km) +300m 6:59 / km

know i ran alot more than 14k due to running at least 2k extra to number 1, horrendous 12 minute mistake, outlining minimal orienteering practise done over the last 8 months since scottish, really expected more out of this individual, making mistakes on 1,4,5,6,10,12,13,20, and the fact in injured my hip on the way to 9, having to walk/ jog from 11 onwards, such an embarrassing result knowing i can do so much better than this. an average run would of got me 85 i think

Orienteering race 43:00 [4] ***** 7.8 km (5:31 / km) +155m 5:01 / km

Middle, dreadful start, which i blame on focusing too much on catching up people, losing, 2:45 on 1, 30s on 2 and 3, 4 good 30s loss on 5, 6-8 clean, dreadful mistake on 9, getting near to 17, dont know what i was doing, awful, 2:45, then clean to the finish but a couple of slow legs, losing about 7:30, a 35 would have been better, but it was a very tricky area and no one was particularly clean, 13th brit i think

Orienteering warm up/down 30:00 [3]

Running race 17:22 [5] ** 3.85 km (4:31 / km) +70m 4:08 / km

sprint, similar mistakes to what i was making last week in training, visited 21 before 2, then turned back on my self, then changed direction again, losing 25s, silly route to 7, 10s, 8-17 all pretty quick and clean with 5s of quickest each time, 8th brit before the mp where i saw what i thought was my control from 300m off so ran to it and didnt check codes, then because i was in the wrong place, messed up on RC to 19 and hit 20 first, +45s loss, but gained a couple of seconds getting quickest split to 20, then angrily ran 21 quickly but lost 10s on 22, disapointing run, knowing i could have been well up there, should of ran a 15:45-15:50 with ease. but only running two sprints since last years jk, lack of practise showing

Running warm up/down 30:00 [3] 5.0 km (6:00 / km)
