1. 530m 5:23 6 +1:26 36% 80.6 30 10:09   530m 5:23 6 +1:26 36% 10:09 Straight through the marsh, but this one was a bit slower and wetter than the ones yesterday. Missed a bit left, but corrected well.
2. 350m 4:34 6 +2:02 80% 68.4 30 40 13:02   880m 9:57 5 +2:58 42% 11:18 A lot of hesitation trying to keep map contact. Then missed a bit to the right.
3. 620m 9:01 8 +1:28 19% 86.5 1:00 14:32   1500m 18:58 7 +4:26 31% 12:38 Got wet very wet three times. Went below the big cliff (pretty thick), then left to where the map looks pretty dry, but it wasn't (recent beaver activity/). Then across the trail to where the marsh wasn't green, but it was very wet, wading up to my crotch. Then I drifted left and bounced off the trail and had one more wet crossing. At least no problem finding the control! Better route was to take the trail around.
4. 260m 3:58 7 +1:44 78% 61.1 56 15:15   1760m 22:56 6 +6:10 37% 13:01 Went a bit left, below the cliff along the marsh. Made for an easy attack, but slow going.
5. 880m 8:50 4 +31 6% 96.7 10:02   2640m 31:46 5 +5:20 20% 12:01 South southeast to the trail. Read the map well coming in and spiked it.
6. 320m 7:42 8 +4:05 113% 51.9 2:30 2:42 24:03   2960m 39:28 5 +9:00 30% 13:20 Misread the cliffs and started looking for it too soon. Had trouble seeing what was a depression on the map.
7. 450m 5:31 4 +54 19% 92.5 30 12:15   3410m 44:59 5 +7:30 20% 13:11 Went by the pit to the stone wall, then back right to it. Had to be pretty close to see it!
8. 300m 5:12 8 +2:41 107% 55.6 2:00 1:35 17:20   3710m 50:11 5 +9:24 23% 13:31 Along the edge of the open area, but then somehow drifted way left to the cliff 90 meters north of the control. Knew immediately where I was, but hesitated before the control because the map didn't make much sense. (I went through a grassy open area!).
9. 190m 2:10 5 +10 8% 92.8 11:24   3900m 52:21 4 +9:33 22% 13:25 Straight, back the way I came.
10. 2320m 24:46 6 +6:10 33% 80.2 2:00 10:40   6220m 1:17:07 5 +15:30 25% 12:23 Didn't want to risk the dark green swamp (which apparently wasn't dark green or a swamp), so I took the trail around, planning to leave it at the bend and go throught the rough open area (which apparently was greener than mapped). But when I tried to cross the stream, the mud sucked me in, and I started cramping trying to extricate myself. So I gave up on crossing and went around on the trails. After crossing the marsh, I took the trail for a bit, then along the cliff to the little deadend trail, then around to the right, coming in on the trail that passed right by the knoll.
11. 360m 3:23 3 +46 29% 91.1 9:23   6580m 1:20:30 5 +16:16 25% 12:14 Trails to the right.
12. 510m 6:25 9 +3:28 118% 47.1 2:30 2:38 12:34   7090m 1:26:55 5 +19:44 29% 12:15 Just lost it. Bashed due north to the trail, then headed west but somehow took the trail going southwest and landed at a junction in a clearing. Stood there like an idiot for what seemed like an eternity until I saw where i was on the map, and proceeded on.
