2. 305m 4:27 1 -22 -8% 14:35   965m 9:15 1 -1:16 -12% 9:35 A little left of line to save climb
3. 380m 6:08 1 -5:59 -49% 16:08   1345m 15:23 1 -7:15 -32% 11:26 Out to trail, along trail for a bit, then up and over spur, and up slot from the south
4. 495m 29:14 2 +21:56 300% 24:00 59:03   1840m 44:37 2 +14:41 49% 24:14 Along trail to past cliffs, up the slot, and got confused about which spur I was on. Spent over 20 minutes wandering around to the N and W. Pretty frustrating. Climbed up on top of the ridge twice to look around, but couldn't relocate
5. 470m 9:45 2 +4:02 71% 5:00 20:44   2310m 54:22 2 +18:43 53% 23:32 Saw Mark Parsons coming down from the ridge into 4 as I went up. Along the ridge, looking for drainages to the left, but got off too soon in a smaller drainage and hunted for a while, before realizing and heading south along the side slope
6. 600m 17:07 2 +4:07 32% 10:00 28:31   2910m 1:11:29 2 +22:50 47% 24:33 Up to the ridge again, and along to go down a spur, but it was earlier than I thought, and I made a parallel error on a large earthbank, ending up searching one gully system to the north
7. 410m 11:44 2 +7:46 196% 8:00 28:37   3320m 1:23:13 2 +30:36 58% 25:03 Ran on compass to the spur, and thought I was in the right place, but didn't see it. I must have been slightly high. Got sucked up the hill by other runners, who were apparently headed for #8. Corrected and went back, found the control, but it sure didn't look as I expected it would.
8. 445m 6:44 2 +1:33 30% 1:30 15:07   3765m 1:29:57 2 +32:09 56% 23:53 Picked out a knoll and headed for it, but I was one off to the N. Should have realized by the car on the road up above. Anyway, once I got there I could see the knoll below the one with the control, and relocated easily from there
9. 510m 5:37 2 +32 10% 11:00   4275m 1:35:34 2 +32:41 52% 22:21 Pretty straight. Could see the control from the trail. Couldn't keep it in sight, but one peek was enough to keep me in the right direction.
10. 330m 2:15 2 +26 24% 6:49   4605m 1:37:49 2 +33:07 51% 21:14 On compass, and keeping the finish banner in sight.
11. 90m 26 2 +4 18% 4:48   4695m 1:38:15 2 +33:11 51% 20:55
