Did not like map | over-ran control hidden in green. This area is a pain. There are several small reentrants but only one mapped. I blame this partially on the map. I also spent 6:08 running back to recover a hat that dropped out of my pocket, wich I am not showing as part of my split time, so my total here should be 6:08 faster than official meet results. I sould have found the hat in 2 minutes but another orienteer had already picked it up. |

I blame 2 mins on the bad placement & 4 mins on my lack of contact (although I went straight to the correct point, I wasn't convinced when the bag wasn't there). |

I assumed bad course setting and didn't check the most logical place carefully enough... glanced that way, but didn't see a bag & didn't go in to check, until I wasted time checking other less likely possibilities. |
