3.	+02:00	When I came in, I could see dot knolls both to the left and the right. Guessed left. It was right.

5.	+04:00	Attacked from the small open knoll across the marsh, but expected it to be lower and I went way north to the next boulder. Came back and missed it again. Then looked at my map and realized it was up side of the knoll.

7.	+02:00	Headed for number four by mistake. (Second time this season I've done this; from now on I'll draw in the connecting lines). Luckily, I caught a glimpse of the flag from below, though it was pretty well hidden.
8.	+05:00	Went south of cliffs to trail junction, and attacked from bend in trail. Would have done fine but it looked on my map like the knoll was circled, and when I got to the knoll, I never looked down the reentrant where the flag was. Went a ways north, came back to the knoll, then looked at the clues.
9.		Took a header down a rocky hillside. Then coming across the marsh about 30 meters left of the cliff, I plunged into muddy water. Map covered with mud and water seeping in. Fortunately, the remaining controls didn't require detailed map-reading.
