Race Evaluation

HVO A-Meet:

L-Jackson

1. overshot by 100m - not used to scale terrain yet
2. solid leg - used vegatation
3.
4. made it to correct elevation/ridge but about 20m to left. Had to stare at map for a minute
5. worst leg - went left of swamp and then drifted even further left - which took me over the mountain. Advantage was a trail and good attackpoint but energy sapped
6. good leg but tired
7. followed trails but took wrong route (down and around) at control
8. long and tiring - I had to sit on a rock going over the ridge - JJ passed me
9. got to circle OK but had some trouble around the rocks. Caught on with PG
10.
11. PG went up and over and I decided to contour around ridge. Saw #12 on the way and got to #11 same time as PG
12. Had already been here!
13. Got to circle but had trouble in all of the vegetation
14. again, around rather than up and over
15. there was a train to the last control by this time
