| 1. | (couldn't find my 50-lap watch, made do with an 8-lapper. Planned to take every 3rd, but messed up. Also took one too many, erasing the 3rd split). Control #1 was the only one that gave me significant problems. Trail to reentrant, down right side, angle up below large cliff. Looked around the corner of the lower cliff, but not far enough -- backed up and went over it. Looked high for maybe 5 minutes before I looked down and saw a guy in a white top leaving it. D'oh | |
| 2. | pretty much straight, saw the guy in white stopped to the right of my line at around the right distance. Looked up and saw the control. | |
| 3. | west to just below the big cliff, then straight to the control | |
| 4. | straight, on top of the long rock face. Stopped right by the control face with the guy in white to my right. I peeked over and found the control. | |
| 5. | drifted a bit left of the line -- the guy in white was to my right. When I got to the steep part, figured I needed to go right, checking out the southernmost nose before seeing the control. Was it in the right place? | |
| 6. | The guy in white went high right away, I stayed below and angled up at the end of the rocky stuff. Saw the stone wall corner and realized I had gone too far. | |
| 7. | Decided to be creative and took the N-Sish trail to the E of the control, finding the gap in the green and later doing some green bashing. | |
| 8. | passing to right of first cliff, then straight. | |
| 9. | As I hit the road, saw the guy in white just behind me. Trail to stone wall, then a straight shot. | |
| 10. | Just ran straight, stopping when I thought the control should be near. Spotted it hidden behind what looked like a pile of dirt. Some cairn! | |
| 11. | Fairly straight to map exchange. | |

| 13. | followed run until I saw green disappear - straight to control | |
| 14. | down reentrant until it became impassable, then backed up and went up (finding a faint trail through the green). Eventually picked up the trail. Went around south of the marsh, bashing laurel most of the way. | |
| 15. | fairly straight, emerging from the green N of the control but figuring it out. Guy in white punched in around the same time with somebody else in tow, who was with him the rest of the way. | |
| 16. | I saw them cross the bridge, so I thought I'd try running down the west side for a while. Really not the best choice, since it cost me climb at the end | |
| 17. | straight, saw the pair of guys punching in as I was arriving | |
| 18. | again (see note to #7) took the trail n, then cut over, below the big long cliff. Saw the pair of guys punch in just ahead of me. | |
| 19. | They went high, last time I saw them. I followed the marshy reentrant up. | |

| 21. | A fun course on a great map. |
