| 1. | I could see the big gray blob on my map before I picked out the little contour oval. Looked for a big gray blob in the terrain :-) | ||||||
| 2. | +03:00 | Stayed S to go round the cliff area; as I crossed reentrant saw George Hawes to the SW of where control should have been. I checked out where he was because I knew he had the same control. He hadn't found it. I corrected to the NE. | |||||
| 3. | I stayed close to the beeline. Between the large mapped cliff and the other mapped cliffs I have no idea where I went (got lost here at the Roundup in '96) but eventually made it to the second line of cliffs and down the flat area to the control. Slow going because of all the rock. | ||||||
