Going out of #4, lost track of where I was on the map. More confusion when I misread the map & mistakenly thought control #21 was #4. Once I got squared away with where I was I found #5 OK

Poor route choice by trying to avoid water. I tried going right around lake but vegetation and obvious distance penalty led me to backtrack

Poor distance judging led to leaving the trail way to early. But good map reading to find my attack point later. I also stopped along the trail to explain orienteering to some passerbys
