1. | +00:05 | Had to sprint to start as I mis-remembered my start time and had about a min to catch my breath before I started. Inauspicious start.
2. | Lucky this one was easy
3. | Ditto. | ||||||
4. | +02:00 | Typically I try to avoid climb if given a route choice. I considered dropping to the yellow but decided to stay high which was a mistake as it was slow. My Forerunner started beeping asking me if I was working out indoors! It then asks if I am 100s of miles from my last workout. Why is this happening to me? I don't need the distractions! I was counting on the spur leading down to the control to be obvious but it was not so I went too E into the rough open and then wandered around NE of the control till I noticed the large bare rock hill ESE of control and relocated off that.
5. | +00:45 | Again I thought the spur leading to the control would be obvious and again I was wrong. I contoured too high in the reentrant and felt very insecure as I passed all the rocks, but was able to read the ones W o the control.
6. | No problems | ||||||
7. | +01:00 | Had a hard time reading the map on this one and landed up looking for the flag among the knolls and rocks due W of control.

11. | |||||||
12. | Could see right away where to go based on huge rock outcrops E of control.
13. | +00:20 | Poor footing thru Diamond Bay, grabbed a bite to eat at the campsite, and at last minute went up the knoll on right and so had to hook back around to get the control and lost a little time.
14. | Went right around 1st hill to pick up the yellow sooner. Not much to attack from made me nervous, but saw the boulder off to my right that told me I was right on target.
15. | Knew where last control was from watching my kids come in so soon as I cleared the woods, it was a sprint to the finish.
