1. | P | D | P | R | 4 | +02:00 | Took long/safe route and read ahead. Lost a little map contact but left trail at correct spot. Started on good bearing, but drifted slightly east and had some troubles relocating |
2. | P | D | P | R | 5 | +03:00 | A creative route planned out by reading ahead which I think was okay: contoured and avoided some rocks. Lost confidence and bailed to trail with no clear attackpoint. Left hand route more physical, but clearer attackpoints |
3. | P | D | P | R | 4 | +01:00 | Didn't believe I had already hit the trail. Thought I was maybe on the indistinct path, but it was obvious. Otherwise, good. |
4. | P | D | P | R | 4 | French Creek 101. Find attackpoint on trail, pace/compass. Actually won a split
5. | P | R | 5 | +03:00 | Thought this might be a tricky area. Took long route to indistinct path/ditch Left the ditch, didn't see pile of rocks... went back to ditch instead of wander. Left from circle ditch on ditch and found with pace/compass
6. | P | D | P | R | 5 | Left hand route. Stayed near the creek to not miss the trail. GPS is slightly off, I'm sure I left at the terrace. Not sure what happened, I thought I was much lower and saw the depression. Eventually moved downhill, hit the ditch and moved west towards the rocks. Slow to get back up the hill.
7. | P | D | P | R | 4 | All competitive energy exhausted by this point. French Creek 101. Find attackpoint on trail, pace/compass.
8. | P | D | P | R | 4 | Same route as Sam, just slow. Contour around and spiked it on a pace/compass
