Race Evaluation

QOC: Greenbelt: Blue

1. Did a 12 mile trail run yesterday, so was using today as a gauge of how well I would do back to back. I felt like I moved well, and ran well when conditions allowed. However, my orienteering was pretty sorry. Went straight across to the lower loop of C campground. Then to trail/ditch intersection. Then managed to go to my left too far.
2. Not sure why I messed this one up, but I did. Hoping to do better to #3.
3. I totally hosed this one. Up to campground and go more northeast than southeast. End up back at the campgound and use the building to go off of.
4. To road and then to tril right below the control. Up the hill a lot furhter than I thought it would be.
5. If I messed this one up, then I needed to quit. But it was so easy, I managed to make it there. First deferred to some people with horses across the bridge. Actually just HUGE dogs!!
6. Make the stupid mistake of going up the left side of the creek. Now I am not only in the green, but have to fight an incline and all those little ditches. The road would have been a better choice for me...
7.
8. Another poor choice of going along the stream and then fighting the green by the sewer.
9. Back to road and to parking lot. Take the trail I think is going straight across to control, but end up on an umbarked trail. Figure this out and get to the right area.
10. Run down the trail until I see the gully below the control. Did not mean to go this far but the trail doesn't seem to match the map.
11.
12. Here is the long leg. Take trail to Blueberry Trail. Then to campground B. Intend to take the Perimeter Trail but ending bailing to road. Nice run downhill. Go too far.
13.
14.
15.
16. Stayed on trail until above the control and then in.
17. Down hill, cross one stream, take bridge across the other one. Still struggle a bit with this one.
18. Totally messed this one up. Brain dead at this point and can't figure out where I am. Finally realize I am way too far east and head in the right direction.
19. Straight across all the mess.
20. To trail and then campground. Deer track through the bulk of the green. Still had to get through some of it.
21. Back to campground and then back into control.
F. Totally exhausted but have managed to get them all!!
