Attackpoint - performance and training tools for orienteering athletes

Race Evaluation

UNO Sargent Center: Red

1. Trail to road, cross marsh, then first trail L, then R. Ended up too far south. In hindsight simpler would have been to cut SW at double knoll then follow the boulders.
2. Cross road, first trail to big boulder, then NE to second trail. Straight line from stream crossing.
4. E, skirting field to S, finding small trail, following it to house, then picking up road. Follow stone wall basically to marsh, then follow it around.
6. Lost time because I unnecessarily went down (drifted too far E).
8. Don't know why I chose to take the trail across the marsh before heading over. Straight seems ok in hindsight.
9. Used the big boulders by the wall as an attack point. Things got murky fast. My pace count probably landed me real close, but I wasn't looking for such a small rock. Ending up stumbling across it when I was on my way to reorient.
F. Nice course. Nice day. Thanks, Alar!
