2. Bad compass work
Hesitated
Followed by others
Unused to terrain
I didn't really feel comfortable in this section. Took off on a bad bearing, corrected, then got confused by similar features that you could see from the clearing. Made the right decision in the end, but a stutter step of a beginning.

6. Bad route choice
Disturbed by others

Choose to contour around vs. running over the hill. It was probably a tough go in either case. Came within 40' of the control, but ran past. There was a group of 6 about 25' from the control that distracted me.

11. Lacked concentration
Hesitated
+00:30
Came in to this control by heading south and using the trail. I caught the ridge to the NE and used it to guide me in. I came down in to the depression and couldn't see the control. I read the spur to the NE as a reentrant and thought I was too early. Went back up the depression and headed south about 15' and saw the control, about 20' from where I had been standing.
12. Did not read control code
Did not read control description
Tired
+00:30
A little tired fighting my way out of 11. Chose to head straight east after fighting through that mess. Hit the trail and was moving at a good clip towards 12. The Green area was black.... all burnt off. I over ran the control. I was looking for the dark green patch, and there seemed to be a few. Did not look at the clue sheet, which would have made everything a little easier.
