| 1. | Trail until it bent N and downhill, then more or less straight, past cliff on the N end of knoll, trail, then left of facing cliff, past big rock on knoll and spiked it | ||||||

| 3. | +02:00 | Not sure why, but kept drifting right and ended up coming out to the powerline, and pretty surprised to be there. Figured it out pretty quick, though and recovered ok. | |||||
| 4. | Left of marsh, then angled up a couple lines and right in. Could see the marsh beyond and to the right and right over the hill into the saddle. | ||||||
| 5. | E to bend int trail, trail for a bit, then contoured along hillside, ending up a line too low and climbing up. | ||||||
| 6. | Contour around, picking up smaller trail near pond for a bit and leaving on compass from the corner | ||||||
| 7. | Slow going across the stream and up the hill, but no problem | ||||||
| 8. | E, hitting trail near bend and over the stream, running uphill to bend and then about 100 m more on trail, past pointy spur with rocks and across marsh. Hesitated on rocks a line too low for only a second. | ||||||

| 12. | Thought I was going to run along wall to power line and then across on smaller trail, but somehow got hung up on powerline and ended up following it way too long, and slow going at that. Once I got to the road, still not thinking clearly and went around on the trail. Control was easy, hung very high. | ||||||
| 13. | Trail to the knoll on the right, then across to the left of knoll with cliff past next trail. Crossed marsh which was way bigger than shown and down along the hillside. | ||||||
| 14. | +02:00 | Angle to the trail bend and pumping along the trail pretty well. Got to the trail jct and couldn't find the bag. I was amazed. Checked around for a bit and was ready to go in, but looked at a few more jcts in the area, back to the right one again and saw it over on the beach under a picnic table. Bummer. | |||||
