| 4. | Ted de St. Croix caught me crossing the road (he started 2 minutes after me). Noticed that he walked up the steep hills studying his map. He also took a more efficient route below the big clearing (saved contours). Saw the control 40m away. | |

| 6. | Hit the big depression at the left side. Followed the contours to the right to the control. | |
| 7. | Was way left. Decided to go right to find the big depression south of the control. Found the control on the way. | |
| 8. | Did not mean to go right to the bottom of the long east/west depression, but did increasing my climb. | |
