West Point Day 1: Red Y

1. Took the trail/road around to the top of the hill. My attackpoint was from the top of the hill, so descent was pretty slow as I was checking my direction quite frequently.
2. Went up above the impassable cliff. Got a bit lost on some rock features on the top of the ridge, but not too bad.

4. Figured the control would be at the bottom of the cliff and was surprised when I turned around to see I was a few meters too low.
5. Not certain of the rock features I was trying to navigate off of.

9. Went straight and tried to contour but got too high, so I overshot and turned around when I got to the large cliffs to the north.
10. Overshot again and turned around at the small cliffs 75m to the northeast.
11. To the left around the swamp, then followed a couple of cliffs to the control. Attackpoint was large cliff to NW.
12. Went down to trail which continued for longer than shown on the map. Left the trail at the impassable cliff, found the RedX control and went straight from there.
13. Went more or less straight, but saw a control ~100m away that I went to first.
14. Came out a bit further N than intended on road, hesitated for a few seconds.
