1. As I was putting on my pants before the race, I realized that I had brought an old pair with a very tired elastic waistband. So starting on the first leg, and throughout the race, I had to keep pulling up my pants and trying to tuck the waistband into the waistband of my running shorts. I should have applied some ductape or safety pins before I started.

3. To the right of the green marsh that's about halfway there. Bobbled a little inside th circle, figuring out which blob of bare rock I was looking for. Boulder? I didn't see any boulder.

9. +01:00Too much eastward leaving the control, missed the space between the marshes, and had to disentangle myself from the briars to go south to the trail.
