Race Evaluation

Colorado 5-Day: Prologue (Attack Badger Sprint)

mindsweeper

1. Streamered.
2. Up over the spur - used knolls to lead me into the rocky area.
3. Got confused by an unmapped dirt road and pulled slightly to the right. Additionally, the punch chord was too short and I had to dig around inside the flag for it.
4. Mostly straight, a bit lucky maybe.
5. Compass.
6. Compass.
7. Compass / checking features en route. Noticed I was getting too close to the fence, which helped me figure out which hilltop to aim for.
8. Used depression en route to make sure I was headed in the right direction.
9. Compass to clearing, then used vegetation.
10. Compass / vegetation again.
F. Downhill sprints are fun!
