UNO Camping Weekend: Sprint Finals: Round 2 Short Course

1.	+00:30	Interesting leg! Of our group, only Glen & I went across the N bridge I think. We both turned R, then into the woods, G.T. first - me at the reentrant. I saw him again at the NS trail. Unfortunately I let him pull me to the S and we bounced off the parking lot.
2.		I looked quickly for the trail at the road, but didn't see it, so plunged into the green with the crowd. Maybe I should have looked a bit more carefully...
3.		Rob Tryson saw it first (it helps being tall)
4.		I started out W to avoid climb, arrived at about the same time as everybody else.

7.	+00:15	I got to the circle before the group, but punched last because I didn't see the cliff was on the W side of the knoll. The area to the E & S of the knoll was not easy to navigate.
8.		Followed Glen to the woods beyond the hill -- a little too far -- we had to backtrack. I found it first.
9.	+00:10	Glen took a faster line out, we went into the woods at about the same point, but he took a better line as I found myself at a boulder W of the control.
10.	+00:10	Straight, but using the field & ditch would have been faster. I was fighting branches all the way.
F.		I let up the pace at the finish, since I wasn't racing anyone.
