Race Evaluation

COC: Night-O Hamlin Park

ebone's comments - by leg

1. I borrowed Roger's Myo 5 headlamp, which he thought was low on batteries, so I used it in LED mode. This made it hard to see and therefore limited my running speed in the forest. Otherwise, it was a pretty good run for me, with the exception of control 5. Also, it would have helped to read ahead more--also harder with the dim LED light.

Lost contact and missed to the left, stopped, then jogged to the right along the slope until I reached the boulder.

13. Hyperextended my right knee by stepping in a hole on the way to this control. No navigation mistake, but I had to run a bit more carefully for the bit of course that was left.
