| 1. | Forgot my O watch - used my 8 lap Timex. To the trail to the north -- AGAIN having difficulty finding it. Then I headed for #10, only figuring things out when I checked the control description to see whether I should be looking at the top or bottom of the cliff. A pit??!!! D'oh! Back down to the trail and do it right. | |
| 2. | Started in the direction of the flooded trail, but couldn't assess its depth and went around the other way. Saw Bill P. leaving #1 as I passed it again. Chose to attack the control from the SSW. | |
| 3. | W to the trail, then ran the trail all the way around. Pointlessly hesitated in the circle. | |
| 4. | Cut NNE to trail, then took big trail all the way around. Over the E part of the hill and dropped to the control. | |
| 5. | Straight. | |
| 6. | Straight, but for some very strange reason, miscounted trails (0 v. 1???) and hesitated when I got to it. | |
| 7. | Ran along stone wall through light green. | |
| 8. | went around on trails to the E. probably faster to go to the W. | |
| 9. | Again miscounted trails - went in too early, causing a hesitation. | |
| 10. | Yuck. Ended up somehow on the wrong cliff (going too far) had to backtrack. | |
| 11. | Around E side of cliff -> trail -> run! (heard John F. bashing down the cliff behind me). |
