Up the road, up the hill through the tall grass, then across the orchard. For some reason, started looking across orchard for control before realizing it was in the woods.

Ran on road on edge or orchard, then turned along power lines. Never found distinction between green and yellow. Headed down hill along power lines, but became disoriented because of mapping inaccuracies. Finally hit trails at bottom of hill and headed into woods.
3. Did not like map
Did not read control description
Time Lost: 05:00
Headed through the orchard to the tree line, but woods were drak green, not open. Headed further down tree line to find more of the same. There were tracks into the "woods" all along orchard. Finally followed one set that went through green to find a strip of overgrown field and the control.
4. Bad route choice
Did not plan ahead
Did not read control description
Time Lost: 05:00
Headed south to mowed field and roads. Went to the corner of the field and trail start, then decided to head over to the corner of the orchard and head through the narrow strip of green: big mistake.
