Race Evaluation

Carleton University: Ottawa Spring Series 1: Long Advanced

boyle

1. It was an uncomfortable start, having locked keys in car and starting race w\o even setting maps.
2. I got my toes wet on NW side of pond but had a good leg.
3.
4.
5.
6. Running through the quad, a very familiar place...home field advantage
7.
8.
9. I swung E using roads whole way but lost a placing with longer route choice.
10.
11. This was the first real error, going E and S around fences rather than following building walls. I was the slowest racer on this leg.
12.
13.
14. There was once stairs here, not mapped because they're not there anymore oops. I ran in to Rorry having all sorts of trouble.
15. This was a ticky control on a three-level section. I even went through building and still came out too high. I didn't do as badly as some on this leg.
16. I did have a good run (for me) on this long leg even if a competitor stopped for a poop and still ran beside me before next control.
17.
18.
19.
20.
21.
22. I hesitated at a control for another course, another measureable error.
23.
24. I actually spiked control for another course, giving me the poorest time for this leg.
25. I ran E of building and got beat to control.
26.
F. Richard said I was hobbling.
