Sick, Flu

2007-02-06 - 2007-02-18

severity grade: 3

This started as usual with a scratchy throat but instead of just moving to a cold, my throat the better, then scratchy again. In later stages I strted running a high temperature and it sapped my strength. I slept a lot. The problem with sleeping a lot is that the left side of my back hurts whenever I get over 6 hours of sleep. Sometimes that pain kept me from sleeping. The doctor wasn't sure but labeled this a virus. She said treating the symptoms was about all there was to do and to let it run it's course of about a week. However, on chance, she did perscribe an antibiotic too.

The doctor diagnosed it as a virus but seemed unsure enough to give me an antibiotic. The medicine, vitamins and rest finally dried out my sinus to close to normal level.
