Grade: 3

During adventure race I stepped into a hole formed by two rocks that formed a funnel. result was that my toes were bent up as I slid further down. And guess what toe sticks out furthest: the big one. Quite painful immediately, but I was able to continue running. Much more painful after I got home after an hour in the car and worse yet on the next morning. Could not roll off foot. Getting better slowly, now, on second night after injury. http://cfospruns.blogspot.com/2011/10/injury-woes.html. Dr. Abrahm thought nothing too serious, but to keep an eye on it. Wear shoes with rigid soles till recovered. Can run again.

Stretching did the job.
