L Knee, Other

2011-10-27 – 2012-08-23

Grade: 3

General bruised feeling on and around the patella. Slightly more pain on descending than ascending. Goes away after a warm up, but comes back if I sit for any period of time. Limping a bit when I first start walking, then loosens up. MRI:
1) Full thickness cartilage loss and abnormal subchondral bony changes of hte upper central trochlear groove from a known treated ocd.
2) chronic hypertrophic tendinosis of the the proximal patellar tendon posterior to which there is scarring tha is considered post arthroscopic
3) .4 mm body within the posterior joint adjacent to the posterior medial pcl near its tibial attachment.
4) small joint effusion.

So lots of stuff. On Jan 24 doing intervals I popped something at the back of the knee. Set it waaay back.

Medial meniscal tear. It went asymptomatic by around June. Surgery consult with Dr. Tim Deacon waving off the knife. He recommended prp.
