R Foot, Plantar Fasciitis

2005-07-28 - 2006-04-21

severity grade: 1

Uh, I guess it's plantar fasciitis, although it's more of a sharp pain than I would have expected that to be. Doesn't hurt all the time, in fact mostly doesn't hurt at all (as of 1/7/06).

What I think caused it - new shoes that didn't fit right.

At first it seemed like running was a bad idea. After not running much in the fall, I decided to start up again, with a lot of cross-training, particularly elliptical. Recently, it seems that stretching before and after every run has helped a lot, and also running regularly keeps it loose.
