L Sick, Cold

2006-04-22 - 2006-05-23

severity grade: 2

Sore lymph node under left side of tongue. No training today, but planning to go to Morgan Territory tomorrow.

4/24 evening: A customer kept me on-site until 9pm without anything to eat after lunch but a handful of twizzlers. I could feel the virus spreading by the hour when I was running out of steam.

4/25 morning: Better again after some sleep. Will try to run intervals tonight since it will probably be the last chance to work out before the short-o champs.

5/9: Various symptoms have come and gone:

* Tired
* Sleepy
* Sore throat
* Swollen lymph nodes
* Bronchitis / cough
* Sinusitis
* Sensitive eyes

All of the symptoms have been very vague, and I always feel well enough to work out if I've had 8 hours of sleep the night before.

I found some old Zithromax that I was given in case of stomach problems while in Thailand. They said "discard after July 2005", but I decided to try to get some effect out of them instead. I'm taking 2 x 250mg today, and either 1 x 250 mg for the next 4 days or 2 x 250 mg for 2 more days. (Haven't decided yet what's going to give the best effect.)

5/18 evening: Skipping intervals today (again) since my throat is pretty sore. Will do them tomorrow if it feels better.

May have been a more complicated affliction - cold / allergies / ozone pollution.
