R Foot, Blisters

2006-04-17 - 2006-05-01

severity grade: 1

It rained on monday and we had a hard workout in racers. I was wearing cotton socks which got absolutely soaked... After the workout I noticed my shoe was bloody. Apparently the sock / shoe chafed against the wet skin and took a large chunk of it off.
Trainer says to keep running on it, but to use blister pads, moleskin, etc.

As of 4/26: Starting to heal, visiting the trainer before practice each day...

Moleskin alone was not enough to keep the wound from reopening. Wrapping that, or a bandage, with lots of athletic tape worked well though.
