General aches in both: L muscle knot at top of calf; both have impact pain when starting run on bulge at top of shin (shin splints?).

Started taking glucosomine-chondritin 4x/day

6/1 - Knees both seem to have recovered pretty much, though L calf tightens up.

The only thing different in the end was Glucosamine 4x/day (500mg). Knee joints seem fine after being real sore all spring. L calf remains very sore so will start another entry.
6/24 - Wore old DS Trainers. R outside heel soft, compressing more, torquing leg and putting strain on knee. Knee sore as before. Retired shoes!

6/21 - dropped dose to 2x per day. See if stays ok. So far been ok.

7/22 - end of glucos. But knee starting to act up again. Very sore in joint after long runs for last two weeks. Can run ok, but now sore to stand with leg straight. Bent a little is ok.

9/11 Knee was ok in WY/CO but started hurting again in Sept so started up Glucosomine again at 3x/day. Seems to be better after a few days and still good now - 9/26.
